This beautiful antique Victorian Volcanic Cameo brooch is set in Silver and was made Circa 1860. It has been expertly hand carved and depicts a high relief image of the three Graces. The Three Graces is a Neoclassical sculpture, in marble, of the mythological three charities. Euphrosyne, Aglaea and Thalia who were said to represent. The brooch is a wonderful find and has been well preserved though a hairline fault is visible.Across the 3 graces ankles - This is not very noticeable though and is otherwise in Good condition.
